Where your Microsoft 365 data lives
Your Microsoft 365 data is stored in Microsoft's UK datacentres when your tenant is provisioned in the UK. We'll confirm your tenant's data location as part of the Assessment.
Where Copilot processing happens
Microsoft has announced UK in-country processing for supported Microsoft 365 Copilot interactions, planned for December 2026. We'll tell you when it's available for your tenant. [DAVID: re-check status before launch]
Third-party models in Copilot
Some third-party AI models available inside Microsoft Copilot are switched off by default for UK organisations and fall outside Microsoft's in-country processing commitments. We only enable them with your written approval.

When we use AI to support your systems, we use models deployed in Microsoft Azure UK regions, and an engineer approves every change before it's made.

Does Copilot keep my data in the UK?
Your Microsoft 365 data is stored in Microsoft's UK datacentres when your tenant is provisioned in the UK. Where Copilot processing happens is a separate question, covered on this page. We confirm both for your tenant during the Assessment.
Can Momentus see my data?
We work with the access you give us, which is read-only for an Assessment, and we use client-owned admin accounts so you can revoke access at any time.
Do you use AI on our systems?
Yes, to draft summaries and proposed fixes. An engineer approves every change before it is made, and everything is logged.
